This year, Help!ComeHome! received its second invitation to The Innocence Project Gala in NYC. HCH Founder and Chair Alison “Ellie” Mayo returned to the event this May, along with HCH Board Member and Legal Advisor, Michelle Impey. The Innocence Project, founded in 1992 by Barry Scheck and Peter Neufeld, is a national litigation and public policy organization dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted individuals through DNA testing, and reforming the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice. Its hard-working Executive Director is Madeline Delone, a most wonderful and selfless person who is, along with her dedicated Board and Team, dedicated to this Gracious Cause for life!!
