Charity Work In The Northeast!

Good Day Everybody!

HCH has been focusing much of its time in the Northeast for the first part of this year from Biddeford, Maine to Princeton, New Jersey. Whether we are doing Volunteer drives, networking, having project meetings, visiting the sick and the elderly, preparing food baskets, helping with bills and clothing, Praying with people, or having open house dinners, it is all done in Jesus' Name and Honor. We love what we do and as the organization grows, we pray we will be able to help so many more in need! Here are some present memories in photos! Diaper Delivery Operation Blessing Portsmouth NH

Good Day!

Help!ComeHome's diaper delivery is going very well and has put some relief on many new single mom's faces! Many have asked that we keep the program going year around and so we will hold 2 diaper drives per year instead of one! =-) ... We recently sent a large portion to Operation Blessing in Portsmouth NH... pictured is Mark Rivera The Executive Director of Operation Blessing, Michelle Mayo (Im) Board member HCH and Allen Ramsay Volunteer HCH... =-) Take care everyone and be safe!

Keeping Kids Safe: Portland, Maine

Good Afternoon!
Recently Help!ComeHome! attended a very special event in Portland, Maine hosted by one of the most important nonprofits in America. It's called Keeping Kids Safe. Its founding member is Mr. Michael O'Neal. He is a law enforcement veteran who witnessed not only the old, familiar dangers that kids and teens face, but also a new, clear, and present danger that is claiming our kids’ attention, sound reason, and unfortunately many of their lives. The unwitting enemy? Technology. This nonprofit brings forth the most excellent programs to help both parents and kids to fully understand how to protect themselves from all clear and present dangers that exist in our society today via technology. Co-hosting the evening with the same purpose was the organization Ridin Steel’s Bikers Against Bullying. Please, parents, look up these two nonprofits. The information they have may one day save your child's life! (Pictured below: HCH Chairperson Alison Mayo; Founder of KKS Michael O'Neal; and Kevin Murphy, HCH Field Tech.)

New England 2016!

Good Evening!

Help!ComeHome! has hit the ground running in this new year with various projects focusing on New England. Thanks to the generosity of the citizens of the Seacoast, we are now able this week to make substantial diaper deliveries to local shelters. Recently, we were able to make a special delivery to a South Boston non-profit. Last year, when bringing them food, they said they could really use diapers. They were the reason for starting the project. Also, we have been in Northern Maine to bring food baskets to those who live in rural areas. This undertaking is still ongoing. A warm thanks to Shaws and Walmart of Elsworth Maine who gave their support in our endeavors, in the fight against hunger. We also visit those who are down trodden in hospitals. Recently we went to Beth Israel Hospital to visit and aid someone in the Psychiatric Ward after a call to HCH came in asking for help. Please remember to aid your local non-profits as behind the scenes, they have given countless souls a reason to hope and have turned many tears into smiles... God Bless and Be Safe... (pictured in album: Dedicated worker Olive Fagan at SA Social Services, Mark Shelton and Allen Ramsay of HCH, and The Gracious Pastor of The Church of The Nazarene in Elsworth Maine who aided us in distributing a portion of the baskets in Jesus' Name.)

Flint Michigan and HCH ongoing Water Project

Hello Everyone!

I pray this message finds everyone in safety and in good health. My prayers are with all who have fallen on hard times in these current days... The world news and our country's news haven't been great. As we walk into the future, there is actually a lot to seriously think about - especially when considering at the water crisis of Flint Michigan. The Government is finally being forced to step in... Thank God for all the agencies and folks from California who have come to aid our American Family there. This could well have been ANY of our communities... It's scary... This is one of the major reasons why Help!ComeHome! established THE WATER PROJECT over 3 years ago and continues help prepare communities across the nation for these very kinds of emergency situations.  We foresaw these days by God's Grace... if you want to know more about Flint, please go to http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Flint_Water_crisis to educate yourself and your children. You can also simply google Flint Michigan water crisis! You can also get involved with the HCH water project by going to helpcomehome.org. No matter where you live, please find out how you can best help your community to prepare for any tough times ahead...Take Care...

Seacoast Area Meet and Greet!!

Good Evening,

Help!ComeHome! has been doing meet-and-greets with non-profits in the Seacoast and surrounding areas. Recently, HCH distributed coats at St. John's Church for their Friday Weekly Common Table Luncheon. In the future, we are hoping to partner with The Church to sponsor a second day for the CTL. God Bless them and all that give a hand in The Great Work of Jesus... Pictured is The Gracious Pastor Rob Stevens of St John's doing the Work of The Lord at The CTL speaking with Help!ComeHome! board member Sarah Cooper. Also pictured is Paul Pridgeon, a dedicated Volunteer for this wonderful cause who has also offered his services to HCH! Great thanks Paul!

FILL-A-BUS EVENT!

Hello Everyone!
I pray this day finds everyone happy, safe, and content as we walk forward into 2016. Help!ComeHome! recently partnered with The Coast Bus Company (Head Supervisor, Mr. Rad Nichols) to host a fund raiser called Fill-A-Bus. The Portsmouth U-Haul Company (Jason Becksted, General Manager) also came forward by God's Grace and supplied us with one of their trucks at no charge! This was amazing! I want to give a special thanks to two HCH Board Members who worked tirelessly to put this together: Michelle Impey and Renee Anderson! Special thanks also to our dedicated HCH volunteer, Karen Howe. I also want to warmly thank the Portsmouth Hannafords Manager Alysha Mosher, (PICK AND PAY FOR LIFE FOR THE LOCALS LOL) Portsmouth Shaws Manager Mr.Pelitier, as well as The Portsmouth Rite Aid! Above all, I want to give a special thanks to our own community of Portsmouth and its surrounding towns! Thank you one and all! Every donation is greatly appreciated and will go a long way for so many mothers... Whoever still wants to donate, by all means go to a charity within your community. To donate to HCH, please visit http://www.helpcomehome.org/donate/
God Bless!!!

Navajo Nation Trip!

Help!ComeHome! just finished a heart wrenching journey to Navajo Nation to bring clean drinking water to America's FIRST Americans. The need is great; years of corporate mining in the early 20th century have polluted the Navajo water supply with toxic heavy metals. This "basic" necessity many of us take for granted on a daily basis is a precious commodity on the Reservation. We will be making another journey out there, God willing, within the next 4 months. Any water donations will be most greatly appreciated; there are so many who live in areas with a limited clean water supply. It's a never ending void!!! Look into the history, and you will find out sadly why!!! A special thanks to our Board Member Andrea Arnstein Willie and her WONDERFUL husband Wilbur Willie and their family, who are Native American. They live on the reservation and were able to give us a first hand summary about the needs of the communities. They are also making preparations for HCH's upcoming trip to the Reservation, in which clean drinking water, clothing, and food will be distributed among Navajo homes. Great Thanks! Good evening,
Thanks to the generosity and love of the people in New Hampshire's Strafford and Rockingham counties and Maine's York county, HCH has had a very successful coat and clothing drive this year! ARE YOU PREPARED?

Good Evening America,
I pray this message finds everyone well or at least ok... We have so much to be grateful for everyday of our lives before The Lord as we walk in the liberty and the freedoms we have had and sometimes take for granted in this country. In light of the sad tragedies that have been happening around the globe to our neighbors in these end times, please stop and think about your own lives, the lives of those you love as well as of your communities... Would you be prepared if you were suddenly confined to your home or dwelling place? Or if you had to help someone on the spot? Or if pandemonium suddenly broke out because of a terror cell? Please store extra water, camping lamps, flashlights, batteries, candles, and medical kits in your cars and houses; wood for the fire place; handi wipes; canned goods and dried fruits in canning jars; indoor electric burners; etc... The list goes on and on... Those who are without, my prayers are for you all that you will be helped by the kindness of Charities, Shelters, and Strangers... To get a full list you can go to www.surviveanydisaster.com.... My prayers go out to all... God Bless...

September Update

Good Evening America!
A few of our board members recently completed a journey across the US to help various communities and individuals in need. You can read more about the trip in the posts below! The work is endless... We're in the process of finalizing our agenda for the fall and winter months as we transition into the next outreach phase. I know many of you have been waiting to hear about our emergency trip to Navajo Nation in response to the Colorado River chemical spill this summer... Please check our calendar and visit our website for updates about this trip, our annual coat drive, Thanksgiving food baskets, and other upcoming events! Have a wonderful night!

The Work Moves Onward!

Help!ComeHome! has been quite busy this summer helping folks with food, clothing, and shelter, and offering words of prayer and strength. HCH has also been busy helping the every day homeless who can't seem to catch a break on the street! We have been working both in New England and across the country in various states, meeting with and helping out the poor, the homeless, and the weary... Since mid July, HCH has ventured into Indiana, Illinois, Wyoming, Utah, Nebraska, and California to name a few! =-) My prayer and hope is that wherever you may be, if you find that you have any extra of anything, please donate to your local charities... I ask this in Jesus' Name... or just in The Name of Goodness and all that it embodies... I thank those who continually have supported and helped in these endeavors... Peace...

Help!ComeHome! is getting ready for its second huge yard sale to be held in Kingston, NH this coming August, 2015. We will post the exact dates before the end of July. I would like to give a special thanks to all the local businesses with whom we have partnered to bring aid to so many! Recently, the owner of All Levels Construction, Mr.Joseph Reynolds, laid aside time in his busy schedule to work with us. He and one of his employees, Tony Almedo, gave a much needed hand of brotherly kindness in aiding HCH to move heavy items from Portsmouth, NH to Kingston, NH in preparation for the event. HCH member and field tech Lexus Reyna also helped with the move. Great thanks, guys and God Bless!!!
